Delhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics has all the latest instrumentation for performing trauma surgery 24x7 in laminal air flow operational theaters, supported by a fully equipped surgical intensive care unit. Trauma treatment has become highly specialized and the aim of treatment is to facilitate early ambulation and movement of joints with early return to function. A special team approach is practiced for poly trauma patients with the help of neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons and chest and abdominal surgeons and intensive care unit specialists.
