Dr. Shekhar Agarwal is one of the most experienced joint replacement surgeons in India with more than 30 years of National & International experience. After doing M.Ch. in Orthopaedics from the University of Liverpool (U.K.) Dr. Shekhar Agarwal worked for 10 years in the most renowned hospitals in England before returning to India in 1990. As faculty for Hip and Knee replacement meetings in India and abroad Dr. Shekhar Agarwal conducts workshops, delivers lectures and performs live surgeries to train young surgeons in this super speciality. He has performed over 17000 surgeries with 4000 hip and knee replacements which includes revision  joint replacement surgeries as well. Dr. Shekhar Agarwal has been President of Delhi Orthopaedic Association. His clinical acumen and academic skills are well recognized in India & abroad.

Dr. Shekhar Agarwal is Executive Director of Sant Parmanand Hospital located in Civil Lines, Delhi. In this hospital he has established “Delhi Institute of Trauma & Orthopaedics” (D.I.T.O.) which is a tertiary level orthopaedic centre. D.I.T.O. is recognized for Post Graduate training in Orthopaedics (DNB Course). He has also established Fresh Frozen Allograft Bone Bank  at D.I.T.O.
