Total Hip Replacement

CASE STUDYcase-study4

April-2014 :

69 years old gentleman presented to us with pain around right hip with difficulty in walking. He had sustained fracture of right hip 4 years back and was operated at that time (fixation done with plate). The fracture had not united and head of femur has migrated medially. He had undergone total hip replacement with acetabulum reconstruction using Trabecular Metal shell and allogenic bone graft. Now after the surgery, he is able to walk comfortably and shortening of his right leg has also been corrected.
